Le Domaine de Loustalviel offers two beautifully restored self-catering holiday gîtes nestled in the heart of southern France.

The Domaine is set in the rolling landscape of Occitanie, near the foothills of the Pyrenees. It boasts three acres of secluded lawns and award-winning gardens for guests to enjoy, along with private terraces for outdoor dining and barbecues. The large heated swimming pool has spectacular views of the mountains.

The surrounding area is home to enchanting medieval villages and towns, vineyards, lakes and prehistoric caves, with activities to suit all ages.

Carcassonne and Toulouse airports are both within an hour’s drive away.

Loustal Beau

Sleeps 4. Loustal Beau is an elegant and spacious converted barn located on the east side of the Domaine. Its soaring ceilings and gallery floors create an open, airy atmosphere filled with light.

L’Ostalet

Sleeps 5. L’Ostalet is a typical Occitanie cottage, located on the west side of the Domaine. It offers secluded gardens, rustic charm and quirky original features.

Sleeps 12. The Domaine’s magnificent main house – spanning three floors and blending modern comfort with traditional character – is available for special events when the gîtes are not occupied. (Please note that the main house is unavailable if gîte guests are staying during the requested period.)

  • What an amazing place! We expected it to be special but it exceeded our expectations. L'Ostalet was perfect. A charming cottage, so well equipped and comfortable. Great views from the terrace and pool towards the Pyrenees. 20 minutes from the charming town of Mirepoix, 40 min from Carcassonne, an hour from walking in the Pyrenees and just over an hour to the Med.
